These galleries present my general approach to photography. It will take time to cover all that I want to cover, but as shown in the navigation above, several galleries are up for viewing.
My general photography is rather different than my landscape art prints. It's hard to say just what it is. For the most part, things I see through the camera either connect or they don't. If I connect I shoot. I like to record the moment and do so with an eye toward both composition and lighting. I look for opportunities and go for them.
I welcome inquiries regarding prints from any of the images in these galleries where a model release is not required.

The early days (1959 above)
Side note about the photo above. If you have visited the Vintage Hawaii Gallery and viewed the Surfer Girl images, that's her in the middle back with her sister, to the right, who took those pictures. My grandmother, on the right, is in the John Walker Story.
