The sign on the top of the building with the Garage sign says Richfield. The only Richfield in California that I can find is next to Corning in the Sacramento Valley. However, the negatives for this series of images were in sequence with the Highway 49 images. Maybe Richfield refers to gas sold at this garage and this scene also is Chinese Camp.
