HORNITOS, CALIFORNIA #2 Hornitos was a Mexican village from the mid-1800s and it is written that it was a lively place with a population of 6,000. Today it is a semi ghost town. PURCHASE INFO HERE
THORN HOME, QUARTZBERG, CALIFORNIA This was the remains in 1931 of Colonel Thomas Thorn's home, Quartzburg's first Post Master in the mid-1800s. PURCHASE INFO HERE
BEAR VALLEY #1 An original print of this May 1931 photo is labeled, 'Part of the old mining town of Bear Valley, where General Freemont built his house when he retired, and it was while living here that he was a candidate for the Presidency of the United States.' PURCHASE INFO HERE
