GALLERY NOTES
These Death Valley images represent two trips made during Oct and Dec of 1929. The Oct trip was to Leadfield. The Dec trip appears to have gone to both Chloride and Leadfield, but the exact route has not been established.

TITUS CANYON ROAD #1
This appears to be Titus Canyon Road before reaching Leadfield since these are rather open hills. Titus Canyon Road is an alternative to taking Chloride Cliffs Road to Death Valley.

LEADFIELD #2
These buildings don't seem to be in too bad of shape since at this time they were only about 4 years old. The place doesn't look too lively, though.

TAXES ARE PAID!
The sign says, "Tax is paid on this property so leave it alone." Small wonder the tax man even knew this place existed!
