Aurora or Bodie? It has been pointed out that Bodie had no trees. If you look to the left of the building there are branches poking above the roof, so maybe this is Aurora.

This is Gold Hill, Nevada, a community near famed Virginia City. This photo was taken a little farther down the hill from the next photo. Today these buildings are gone.

This also is Gold Hill, Nevada. The photo was taken a little farther up the hill from the previous photo. The bell tower apparently is the only remaining structure.
